Life comes at you in so many wild ways. 

The past few years have been a whirlwind of change! I've stayed consistently writing and performing music in multiple capacities (my own original music, with music written for my students, as a sideman on tour with Drew Tucker , and my standard one-off gigs). I have been feeling excited about the different ways music has been showing up in my days. I have also been working with and meeting people on social media ( mainly TikTok & Instagram ). This has also led me to keep up with communicating thoughts and anecdotes from my world in education alongside with my personal music endeavors. 

I just received the masters back from multiple songs I plan on releasing over the next few months, and I'm just here feeling grateful.

If you're one of my local peeps here in Michigan, I look forward to seeing you at some of the upcoming shows, and if not: I look forward to whatever digital connections can be made!

Hello! 

I'm not sure what brought you to this corner of the internet, but I appreciate you checking this out! Over the past few years, there have been quite a few developments as far as music-making goes, and its been fun to be a part of it. I've been writing a lot of new music, some for the performance space and some for the sake of music education, which is another passion of mine (much of my Instagram goes down that vein). All of which I am excited about!

The music that I've been writing as of late has come out of a season of struggle and dryness, yet the songs themselves aren't seething with dark timbral elements wrought from the unkempt recesses of my mind. Honestly, they just carry meaning to me in a way that has seemed separated from me as of late. I'm excited to share them with any listening ears, so I'd love for you to stay connected!

So there have been some fun developments as of late!

I have been a fan of Breedlove's acoustic instruments for years, introduced to them by my older brother. A year ago (2019) I was finally able to purchase a Breedlove of my own (one of their Concertina models...one with that awesome cocobolo wood *insert chef's kiss here*)  and I've been in love with the instrument ever since. Being officially considered a Breedlove Artist by their company means a lot to me, as I love what they stand for.  Sustainable practices, expert craftsmanship, and an excellent sense of community. These are things that I've actually experienced myself, not just a sentiment pulled from a website! That was something new. And something appreciated.
